Primary contact

Email support

support@gifedit.tools

This is the best way to reach us for product support, privacy requests, bug reports, and general questions about gifedit.tools.

What to include in your message

The more specific your email is, the faster we can respond. When relevant, please include:

  • the tool you were using, such as cut a GIF shorter or lower GIF file size,
  • your browser and device, for example Chrome on Windows or Safari on iPhone,
  • a short description of the steps you took,
  • what you expected to happen and what happened instead,
  • screenshots if the issue is visual,
  • and whether the problem happens with one GIF or many files.

Please avoid sending confidential files unless they are necessary to help us see the same problem. If you do send a sample GIF, assume it will be seen by support staff handling your request.

Common reasons people contact us

Product help

Questions about cropping, resizing, compressing, trimming, reversing, speed changes, captions, or sprite sheets.

Bug reports

Tell us what page you used, what browser and device you were on, what happened, and what you expected instead.

Privacy requests

Ask about editing on your device, cookies, analytics, or rights requests related to information you sent us.

Rights and policy questions

Questions about our Terms of Use, acceptable use, or how GIFEdit describes browser-based editing.

Partnerships and press

Tool directory listings, educational mentions, and press questions are welcome at the same support address.

Feedback

Feature ideas and notes about what felt slow or confusing help us decide what to improve next.

Response expectations

We aim to read support emails as promptly as practical. Response times can vary with volume, complexity, and whether we need more detail to understand the issue. Simple product questions are usually faster than harder file problems.

  • Use a clear subject line, such as “Trim GIF preview issue on iPhone Safari”.
  • One issue per email keeps the thread easier to follow.
  • If your request is a privacy rights request, say that in the subject line.
  • We may ask follow-up questions before we can give a final answer.

Before you email

These resources answer many common questions without waiting on a reply:

Privacy and support mail

When you email support, we receive your email address and the content of your message so we can respond. We use that information for support and related operations, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not need an account signup for you to contact us.

If your question is about whether GIF files are uploaded during normal editing, the short answer is that core GIFEdit tools are designed so editing stays on your device. More detail is on the privacy page.
